What is the address of your usual residence?
Please provide the physical address (street number and name, not a post office box) where you usually reside rather than any temporary address at which you reside for training, work or other purposes before returning to your home. If you are from a rural area use the address from your state or territory’s ‘rural property addressing’ or ‘numbering’ system as your residential street address.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)
You may already have a USI if you have done any nationally recognised training, which could include training at work, completing a first aid course or RSA course, getting a white card, or studying at a TAFE or training organisation. It is important that you try to find out whether you already have a USI before attempting to create a new one. You should not have more than one USI. To check, use the ‘Forgotten USI’ link at usi.gov.au.

About this course
UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel is the unit electrical workers are generally required to hold before working on or near energised low voltage equipment. It covers safely isolating supply, approaching and removing a person in contact with a live panel, and then resuscitating them.
Because a rescue is worthless without resuscitation, this course includes HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in the same session — so you leave with both certificates. Most employers and licensing arrangements expect this to be refreshed every twelve months.

UETDRMP018 questions
The things people ask us most about this course.
Does this course include CPR?
Yes — HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is delivered in the same session, so you receive both the rescue and CPR certificates. There is no need to book CPR separately.
How often do I need to renew Low Voltage Rescue?
Twelve months is the standard expectation across most electrical workplaces and licensing arrangements, largely because the CPR component is renewed annually. Confirm the interval with your employer or licensing body.
Who needs this certificate?
It is generally required for electricians, apprentices and anyone whose work takes them on or near energised low voltage equipment — including solar installers, switchboard technicians and maintenance crews.
What is the difference between the traditional and express session?
Both lead to the same certificates. The 3-hour express session moves more theory into the online pre-work so the classroom time focuses on the practical rescue and CPR components.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
No — all rescue kit, insulated equipment and manikins are provided. Just wear work clothes and enclosed footwear.
Can you deliver this on our site?
Yes. On-site delivery is common for electrical contractors and industrial sites around Cairns. Get in touch for a group quote. Group bookings of more than 20 students receive a 20% discount.
