Course Schedule & Fees
All prices are GST-exempt training fees, delivered face-to-face at Cairns RSL. Certificates are typically emailed within 2 hours of completion.
Pick your course and session length
Most courses come in two formats. Both lead to the same nationally recognised certificate — the short course simply moves more of the theory online so you spend less time in the room.
Provide First Aid
The complete course — first aid plus CPR. The one most workplaces ask for.
CPR
CPR on its own — the fastest way to keep your certificate current.
Education & Care
First aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis — built for educators and childcare staff.
Low Voltage Rescue
Rescue from a live LV panel, including CPR. Essential for electrical and trades workers.

What is the address of your usual residence?
Please provide the physical address (street number and name, not a post office box) where you usually reside rather than any temporary address at which you reside for training, work or other purposes before returning to your home. If you are from a rural area use the address from your state or territory’s ‘rural property addressing’ or ‘numbering’ system as your residential street address.
What is your postal address?
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
You may already have a USI if you have done any nationally recognised training, which could include training at work, completing a first aid course or RSA course, getting a white card, or studying at a TAFE or training organisation. It is important that you try to find out whether you already have a USI before attempting to create a new one. You should not have more than one USI. To check, use the ‘Forgotten USI’ link at usi.gov.au.

Fees and booking questions
How often do I need to renew my first aid certificate?
Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) is valid for three years, but the CPR component should be refreshed every 12 months. Most workplaces and industry bodies follow that same schedule.
What is the difference between the traditional and short course?
You receive exactly the same nationally recognised certificate either way. The short course moves faster because more of the theory is completed online beforehand, so you spend less time in the classroom.
Do I need to do anything before the course?
Yes — every course includes online pre-course work, which we send through once you book. It usually takes under an hour and it keeps the face-to-face session focused on practical skills.
How do I pay, and are the fees GST-free?
Fees are GST-exempt training fees, so the listed price is what you pay. Payment can be arranged when you book — call us on (07) 4053 2249 if you would like to be invoiced.
Can you train my whole team on site?
We can. Group and corporate bookings run at your workplace at a time that suits your team, anywhere in and around Cairns. Get in touch for a quote.
When will I get my certificate?
Certificates are typically emailed within 2 hours of completing the course, so you can send it to your employer straight away.
